Is your real name Mariah Kingsley? If not Why did you choose this name?

No, actually its not my real name. When I first started writing I used my real name.  Then people started calling me asking if I gave head as I did in the book. after that, well I went to my family tree to find a name. The farthest at the time that I could go back was a woman name Mariah and a man named Kingsley so that what I used.  

What was the first thing you ever wrote?

I have no idea, but in high school, I would write stories and people would read them. I would have people all over the school and some teachers wanting to read what I wrote. 

Who is your author’s inspiration?

When I was in 5^th grade my teacher wrote a book while we were in class. She wrote while we were doing independent study. When I got older it was Francis Ray, I loved her so much. Right now, I am a huge Kristen Ashley fan. So I write like a lot of them. 

What is your inspiration for your newest book? 

Crazy fact. I dream of each book I write. I have great dreams and sometimes I write them down, and if I dream about them again, I know I should write about them.

How do you come up with names?

That’s tricky, I always know how I want them to look, I just have to find a name that I don’t mind writing a hundred times. I have changed names in the middle of writing. Sometimes, I ask my children what names they like, and I use them as well. 

At what point do you think someone should call themselves a writer?

I think when a person puts themselves in the public eye, they get what they wrote edited and find a cover they are a writer.

What does writer’s block mean to you?

If I have a hard time writing, I usually read. After a few chapters of a book, my muses start to talk to me again. I think they get jealous of the attention I am giving the book. Then everything flows.  

If you could live anywhere in the world to write a book where would that be?

I would love to live on the beach. I would like to walk out of my home and see nothing but blue water. I think I would like a home in the Bahamas. In fact, I just might buy a house there. 

You write steamy love scenes do you live them?

Wow, there are some love scenes that I have lived. There are some things that I enjoy that I write in my books, but I have a creative imagination and I like to show that even in love scenes. 

Your characters have several sexual adventures, what’s your sexual fantasy?

That changes everyday. Sometimes I want it one way, and the next day I wanted it different. I can’t say that I have a real fantasy that I haven’t fulfilled. I guess I am lucky like that.
